do you ever get in a life rut? when that happens i try to do something out of the norm. lately i've been pretty content avoiding the vegas clubs and staying in on the weekends, running, and working on DIY projects. when kitty mentioned a watercolor class on saturday, i was all over it! i highly recommend it for both novices and intermediate painters. ours was offered at a local michael's, but we're considering taking a university class as well. at just 25$ a session, it seemed like a great way to unwind, get the creative juices flowing, and come home with new artwork.

ps. i had no idea what i was doing, but i think they both turned out pretty cool. isn't it funny how kitty's (left) is so abstract while mine (right) is more literal?
